88 85 Force Engine running rough

Start with compression and spark tests.
Then check for water in the fuel.

Install a water/fuel separating filter.

Then check the fuel system.
Could be the diaphragm has a hole?
Maybe the inline connectors, one is going bad?
Maybe the squeezie's valve is going bad?

Lastly test the overheat system.
Might need a new impeller, maybe a thermostat?
 
Thank you I did a compression test and spark and it turn out that I had no spark on cylinder #3 so we change it put a new coil and the motor is running great now we are going to run additives thru for the carbs thank you
 
Seafoam does nothing.

I use Chevrons F/I cleaner.
Comes in a black bottle.
Called Chevron with Techron.
I mix 1 bottle in a gal. gas/oil and run it through the carbs.

To do a decarb, use Mercury's Power Tune or OMC's Engine Tuner.
This can be run in the fuel but is best when sprayed in the carb throat and in the plug hole.
