engine identification

Hello people of the internet.

I've recently purchased an old 1957 Jensen and am trying to find out more information on the engine.

it says Crusader Charger series 220 on the valve covers.

the model number is CS 220 L.H and the serial number is 12151

Would really like to know so I can find a manual for it.

Probably gonna be a tough one to find.....have you tried contacting the factory to see if they could help....??

As far as basic tuneup specs, they shouldn't be too hard to find once you identify the OEM and the engine type...you said valve covers, so I'd guess this is a V-8?
