8 hp Mariner

Hi! New here and looking for some help. I picked up a 8 hp Mariner #677 S 044373 which I believe is a 1981.Now this motor has not run for 20 to 25 years, It has no spark! My question is what do I need to do to this motor to make it water worthy and is it worth it or do I look for something else!
 
Finally getting to this and not sure how to get the impeller out. There is a rubber plug on the side off the housing which behind that is a bolt which looks to lock onto a shaft which I think must be undone? Do I need to un hook the shifter lever which looks like a PIA! Checked YouTube but can’t seem to find any info on that motor!
 
Try looking for videos on'78-'79 Yamaha 8 hp impeller change as your outboard is a Yamaha in all but name,and yup it is '81
 
Thanks for the info,just got in from the garage and I undid the bolt behind the rubber plug and she came apart!So when I look for parts do I look up Yamaha instead of Mariner
