I'll start by apologizing for not have the year of my 9.9 johnson, but I do have pictures. I am trying to hook up a control box and the wires are different. I have large red plug and a 3pin plug all on controls. On motor I have 2 plugs a yellow 6pin and a female plug. I will post pics. Any idea if there are wire adapters or do I need to ruin my controls and motor by cutting these plugs off?
