Thread Sealant

Hello Everyone,
I am rebuilding trim cylinders. What kind of sealant should I use on the tube threads?
Also what oil is recommended for Trim Cylinders?

FYI..... most anything that would be O-ring sealed does not require a liquid or paste sealant. This would include flared hose fittings, etc.
