07 bf 150 hp oil sensor

oil sensor part number 1137260 rna a01 $187.71 boats .net same pt number accord crv civic $66.53 looking at the diagram they look the same! Any thoughts why this would not work? Thanks

Usually if genuine Honda outboard parts cross over to automotive they use the same part number. The 135 and 150 high oil pressure sensor does not seem to match anything else so may send an incorrect value to the ECM causing an alarm. I am not sure where you got the part number you mention, the one I found was
37260-RNA-A01 which applies to certain Accord and Civic models only and is between 180.00 and 196.00 wherever you search so can only assume that is the one you need or they would use the same sensor on all the EFI motors. Perhaps someone else can comment.
