Corrosion X or a White Lithium Grease on Mechanical Advance weights....

Guys... age old dilemma. Which Grease to use ;-)

My annual PM includes replacing my Pertronix Dizzy Cap and Rotor... But when I'm in there I usually ensure my mechanical advance weights and springs are lubed up with corrosion X spray... That high energy seems to suck that stuff up and I still see some oxidation over the season.

Been reading around....is it SAFE to use a white lithium grease on those suckers? Would that likely last a bit better??

Love Corrosion X, but thinking a grease would adhere better? Just not sure if that's safe...

don't see anything wrong with the Lithium....just use is sparingly
