My Mariner 2 stroke auxiliary was stolen 4 years ago when the thief rocked the engine and snapped the tube bracket because the mount screws were padlocked.
By a good stroke of luck the engine was recently spotted by a member of our boat club on eBay and recognised by the broken transom bracket.
To cut a long story short and by being persistent with the police, I have recovered the engine , still exactly as when stolen, but I need to replace the broken transom piece to be able to use the engine.
I have found what appears to be a replacement bracket on eBay but it has a different number, 6EO/6E3.
Does anyone know if this will fit my engine?
