I just installed a tachometer (Faria) on my boat. It seems to be working correctly as it shows it idling about 800 in the water, and it goes up as I speed up.My question is that when I push my control all the way forward it only goes up to about 3000 - 3200 rpms. MY gps was down, so i didn't have a gps speed, but my speedometer said 35 mph, and that felt about right. It's an older trihull, so it's a fairly heavy boat, and 35 is plenty fast enough for me, but...
