What coupler from what vendor could be used?
1986 Rinker v190 cuddy. Alpha one drive.
Engine 300 hp 5500Rpm 1" shaft.
Also can counter rotating props be retrofitted to this drive?

The spline to the stern drive are all the same from OMC to Mercruiser to Volvo etc. The difference is in the bolts for the flywheel. You need a Chevy coupler for a Chevy and a Ford coupler for a Ford.

Engine 300 hp 5500Rpm 1" shaft.

Ayuh,..... 1" shaft,..?? What, Where,..?? ya seem to be leavin' out alota info,.....

Is this motor dressed as a Mercruiser,..?? For an Alpha drive,..??

Also can counter rotating props be retrofitted to this drive?

Nope,.... Need a different lower unit,.....

Custom engine is an electric engine with 1" diameter SS shaft. To which I need to connect the alpha drive if possible, already on boat. Bin

Ayuh,.... How do you plan to mount the motor,..??

It needs to be kept in alignment with the outdrive,.....

Simplest, off the top of my head answer to the question is,....
A 1" flex shaft coupler to flange, with a merc crankshaft mounted drive coupler, to the outdrive,....
But,.....
That does nothin' for alignment,.... just power transmission,....

Get a Jackshaft inner transom plate with the trunnion and you can hook anything you want to it by way of drive shaft.

Or make your own trunnion that fits the alpha plate.
