Hello first post newbie on this forum.
So I bought a 71 Johnson 100 I can’t get it to start I boost the battery starter turns real slow. I have spark a plugs nice blue spark when watching it. Now I think it’s the carbs but I don’t know how to remove them as I don’t have the manual never removed one from a boat motor. I’m a auto mechanic so I can get around it pretty well if someone cud explain ? The gas in it’s probably just as old as it’s been sitting 3 Years. It still smells like gas but there’s no oil in it. Another question what is the oil mixture for this motor. I read 50:1 is this correct?
If anybody has the manual for this motor and wouldn’t mind sending me some pics of the pages It be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! Or jus of procedure for removing carb and trouble shooting for no start n a wiring diagram
