Is this what oil with water in it looks like?

Resealed the lower unit on my 25hp Johnson 1981, ran two kinds of oil in it for about 15 minutes each to see if water got in. The green/yellow oil has sat in the glass for two days and no water has separated out. The blue/green Mercury LU oil I ran last night and collected this morning. Again, no water separation I can see.

The oil is more opaque than when it was put in, so it looks different, but I can't determine if it has absorbed the water that may have gotten in, or if that's just the way gear oil looks after it's been churned around in the gearcase.

Don't have a pressure tester to see if the lower unit reseal is working properly.

Thanks for any guidance --

Harold

Never mind -- took some of the Mercury gear oil, mixed it with a hand mixer and no water, afterwards it looked like the photo. Then I added about a third cup of water to about a cup of gear oil and mixed it in. After a few minutes, the water had settled to the bottom, clearly visible. Ergo, no water in the gear oil.
