I've seen this question asked before, but with no answer. Why is the Oil slinger in the Penta SX lower outdrive obsolete and no longer available? I'm currently in the process of rebuilding a lower unit and find it odd that something as critical as an oil slinger can be left out. Also, at what point did Volvo stop putting the slinger in the penta sx? anyone know?
