    Hi

Just purchased a small project and I was hoping someone could help identifying the year for the outboard please?

The Serial No. (there is some corrosion and looks to be?) Mariner 40BE 676BL-40698-

    Thanks in advance

There's a few,Bill Higham in Manchester usually has a good stock,a bit pricy,outboard-spares-unlimited but they are online only,or used to be,I have bought from him in the past.Marinepartsdirect, are a European based and if not in stock, can find it from else where in Europe in a day or so,not sure where in UK they are.Outboards Direct, they're in Brighton.
As it is a Yamaha in all but name, any Yamaha dealer might be able to help for parts.
