Ayuh,..... Boats rot from the bottom, Up,....

Odds are, if ya got a soft spot in the deck, the stringers under that are rotten as well,.....

    What is yer deck surface,..??
Carpet over plywood, or a cast fiberglass liner,..??

I have seen the videos on that type of repair it is just an expensive band aid. You need to cut out all the dryrot and replace with new marine grade plywood then glassover it. If it's curved just laminate 1/4 inch pieces with hot glue then glass over it.
It takes a nickle to go first class!
If it aint broke dont fix it!!
