chrysler 15hp serial number help

hello, i'm having a hard time finding the correct serial number for my specific motor on this site, when i select any of the years between 1976 & 1984 it pulls up different serial numbers then what I have on the tag for my boat. Am I missing something on here?

model number is vwb 52115

& serial is 57x20577

but all its showing on the site is 153bc for example which makes no sense to me

can anyone help me with this? thanks
 
The nly difference is if you have a tiller handle or charging system i believe the 75 and 76 are basically the same. There are some chrysler wizards on the net try a few other forums for exact answers. When they were manufactured as low end engines basically throw away when broke. Hard parts can be difficult to find and very expensive.
