50 hp 2 STROKE HIGH FUEL COMSUMPTION

Hi, I'm from Mexico I have a 50 hp 2 troke, I have more than one year using it but the fuel consumption increased about a 50%, I'm thinking about to change the three carburetor main jets (138) for a new ones, I don't have any kind of problem with my boat and propeller. Do you think that changing this pieces the consumption of fuel will decreases?
 
I doubt changing the jets is the solution here.----Find out where fuel is leaking !!!----Perhaps the fuel pump is the culprit.---Perhaps a carburetor has float / float valve issues.

Thanks for your help, It was the same thing that my mechanic told me that I need to check the float and float valve.
