Hi guys
have recently replaced my old blue band merc with a suzuki dt200. Was off a Comercial Boat so well maintained and come with a ton of spares. Have had many problems with it but have managed to work through them and sort most of it.
End of last season motor started to bog right out if you tried to apply full throttle. Now it has gotten worse and I can only apply 1/4 throttle.
If I lay power on I can get on plain but motor will not rev past 4000 rpm. If I do apply full power motor doesn’t cut out , just hunts between 1500 and 2000 rpm.
I have ave checked everything I can think of so far. All filters have been changed, plugs, coils all checked, timing seems to be ok.
Had it it out last weekend and problem was still there, but after about 10 mind of running it remedied itself.
Took out again this weekend and problem was back.
any help would be great.
