2003 130 4 stroke engine. Cowling won’t come off

I just purchased this 130 4 stroke and the motor runs great. I can’t get the dang cowling off the motor to replace the plugs...I know the front latch is working bur the starboard rear latch is not disengaging. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

If you have the grey leaver on the side which is fixed to the shaft with a tapered pin it has got 2 latches on either side of the shaft that lock the cowling.the pin has most likely sheared off. get a pin punch and knock the old one out .try this 1st . there is another way you can get it off but try this 1st.
 
Mine was hard to unlatch. I had to literally had to have someone sit on the cowling and then it would unlatch and readjusted the locks, now it works perfect.
