Going to put the motor to sleep this week and it will be stored outdoors in Canada. How do you get lube on bearings with a direct injection two stroke? was just going to spray fogging oil in cylinders, but can you spray oil in a running engine to help lube the bearings?

The TLDI already has oil on the bearings, but you can spray fogging oil in the intake to add some more. You can spray it in the air chamber (remove the grommet), so you don't get oil on the TPS assembly. I would also pull each plug, and spray some in each cylinder, then crank it over once, and then reinstall the plugs. Be sure to drain the vapor separator as well, as fuel will otherwise sit there and evaporate, possibly leading to a sticky needle valve.

Thanks Paul, I am not familiar with motor with the cover off , so will look for the Grommet mentioned and hopefully the vapor seperator is in an obvious location.
I'm assuming you mean to spray it in the air chamber with the motor running?
