Parts needed for OMC 800 water pump replacement.

I have a 1979 OMC 800 sterndrive and I need to replace the water pump.

Besides the water pump kit what other parts will I need?

Lower gasket kit?
Upper gasket kit?

Anything else I might be forgetting?
I have things like loctite etc.
Just things I need to order before hand.

Just be very carefull with the shift cable
 
Water pump successfully replaced. Put 103 miles on the boat last weekend going to and around Catalina Island from Long Beach. Boat ran great except the last owner took the thermostat out. Moron. New one going in and another Catalina trip planned for New Years weekend.

Thanks for all who gave suggestions and parts diagrams.
