    Default Motorguide FW-FB, 71lb, 24 volt question

    Hello,
    I recently acquired a bass boat with a Motorguide FW-FB, 24V, 71lbs thrust.
It was not connected to any batteries, but will be, as soon as I can figure this out.
It's a 24V trolling motor, says so right on the top. But the serial number sticker, on the bottom of the head, says, "VOLTS DC 12" and now I'm hesitating.
    Thanks.

the little bit of factory literature I have indicates what you have is 24 VDC.....when in doubt, contact an authorized dealer with the S/N and see what they say...
