Tohatsu direct injection 90 HP

Hello, I bought a used Edgewater 15.5 and it has a 2014 Tohatsu 90 HP 2 stroke. Just wondering if there are any maintenance concerns or trouble spots with this motor? Has worked well all summer. Hoping it is a good motor long term.

Your model is probably MD90C2. No issues. Fresh, clean gas is good. I recommend you drain the vapor separator during the off season. Run oil for direct injection only, as regular TC-W3 is not necessarily good enough.
 
Thanks for the tip on the vapour separator. I have been running Sierra direct injection oil that my dealer recommends.
