Im having some issues with my motor going into guardian mode. Had a scan done and it related to exhaust manafolds getting to warm. Alarm goes off and goes into guardian mode at about 172 degrees engine temp. Anyway was recommended to change the impeller housing at the same time as the impeller.
I have the pump housing off already. If I change the housing is there a special puller to remove the pulley? Do I really need to change the housing? 130 total hours on motor. Im thinking just change the impeller and try it to see if it solves the issue, if not I'll have till spring to get that $400 housing. Anyway looking to get that pully off. Any suggestions? closed cooling system. Already changed the t stat to no avail
