too much oil

Older 200 HP Merc. 1984/85 sir #592195, fristyear for oil injection. If this motor sits unused for a week or so it will not start. All three carbs are mostley filled with way too much oil. If I drain the carbs, pump raw gas into the fuel system, it will start in a huge cloud of smoke. After it has run a while, full throtle etc, it runs and starts fine but still smokes much more than normal. Oil tank/oil consumption is way up as well. HELP????
