1997 johnson 150 fast strike run great for 20 30 miniutes then after sitting 30 miniutes it starts but will not go more than 2200 rpm every so often it will rev up for a second sometimes 3 to 5 seconds it has completely shut down a time or 2
 
Heat sensor checks out good
seems to run fine when the shift switch is not installed it is plugged in and grounded just not stabbed into position
while in position i have no spark left side (harbor) runs good when leaving the dock then it seems to go into limp mode While on the water I removed the shift switch seems to be running good.
