Tachometer switch setting

I recently got a new to me 2005 Mercury 60hp 2 stroke ELPTO. The engine came with prop, controls and all the gauges. My question is in regards to the tachometer. The tach is a Faria 7000 RPM tach and the switch is currently set to "4" for a 10 pole alt.

If I am reading Faria's instructions properly, shouldn't this switch be at the "5" position for a 12 pole alt.?

The 2005 60hp 2 stroke is a 12 pole alt, correct?

My quick ref chart shows that model to be a 12 pole, so if "5" equates to 12 poles on the tach that should be the correct setting.
