    Default Sea King 15hp

    i have a 1962 Sea king model number GG18737c im looking for any kind of parts breakdown as i pulled the lower unit completly apart and there were no seals in it at all and there was a bunch of in places i dont htink it should be. also have a crack in the skeg unit/prop gear housing any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    I believe those were johnson built for gale. The driveshaft length is different and the water pump was different do you have pics? I find it hard to believe there are no seals in the gearbox one under the water pump and the other in the bearing cartridge for the propshaft.
    It takes a nickle to go first class!

    Pulled out the water pump and there is no seal under it hence why there was probably oil in the pump and water in the lower unit there is an o ring on the bearing carrier. I am at work but can pics of it later this evening
