Mariner 25 hp year of manufacture?

Hi, I just bought a 25hp mariner motor. It has a serial number OC154733. I wonder what year it is? Also it is a 2cylinder engine. I assume it must be a two stroke and takes a 50:1 mix?
 
That's a 1989 Mercury/Mariner - so just a 25 Merc with different paint and decals, otherwise mechanically identical.

Yes, it's a 2 stroke and yes you mix your gas at 50:1.

Merc called for 87 octane gas (91/92 RON) and TCW-3 rated 2 stroke oil.

Great motor, parts are still mostly available from Merc and from aftermarket companies such as Sierra and CDI.
