Looking for shop to inspect/rebuild AQ 270

Hello Folks,

I have a new old boat with a Volvo-Penta 270 drive leg ....it is vintage 1973. I would like to receive suggestions for a shop to inspect/rebuild this drive. After reading and lurking this forum and others my first choice would be Rick at Ricardomarine ....I did notice that Rick requests no private messages ....sorry Rick I PM'ed you before that thought set in. In case Rick is not tearing apart and rebuilding drives ...I would greatly appreciate the members suggestions on who and where to have this work done correctly ....thanks in advance John

John, several years ago I would have been very willing to receive your drive, do what was necessary and to ship back to you. I did that for ye
Today, I have retired from that and I am no longer receiving/repairing/shipping the AQ series drives.

As for help via email or the forum...... sure.
Start a new thread, post your question and I'll try my best to help you.

Contact Monmouth Marine in Brielle NJ a dealer for a looong time. They have been doing this since that days of the AQ100 drives. Hopefully they still do this, I know they are still selling Volvo parts.
