Just bought a 1973 houseboat. It has twin 6 cyl 170 HP motors. The transom shield says "Chrysler" but the drives appear to be 250 VP Aquamatics. Did Chrysler make a drive or do these take VP parts?
Also the specs say the twins have 3 carbs each. Would these be two barrel? Could there be different mfrs or can we pinpoint who might have made these?
I'll get in the engine compartment in a few days to really check things out but if anyone knows anything I'd be delighted.
