1980 Century Arabian OMC 260 steering actuator issue

Bought this bought last year, it was donated to a local charity. Its in good shape and runs very well, however, the steering actuator and assembly is badly worn and the boat would jerk to the right when on plane, now is very hard to turn to the right. I am looking to replace or rebuild the assembly. I found the part last year for $450, but now cant seem to find it again. Any help in locating a new or rebuilt unit would be appreciated. If anyone has dealt with the issue before and has any info to share, that would also be appreciated. TIA
