    Default How to hook up a portable tank to a fuel/water separator correctly?

    hi i have a 17ft freeport skiff boat and i think i have gunk and water in my tank.I dont want to use the tank and i want to use a portable tank until i could get the other tank cleaned out.How do i hook up the portable tank threw the separator ? do i need a primer ball on the portable tank line going to the separator even though one is on the separator line going to the engine?Can some one help me out here im new to this and want to know the right way of doing it.

    Ayuh,.... Take the current gas line off the filter, 'n put the line from the remote tank onto the filter nipple,....

    That's it,....
    Any Grease is Better,... Than No grease at All....

    And plug the line going to the 'old tank' - you don't need that stuff in the bilge or the water....
