1993 force 40hp,

starts fine, runs fine, but dies out within minute, will restart after 30 seconds,doesnt seem fuel related, could it be temp sensor?
 
Do you have to pump the ball to get it to start?
When you pump the ball does it get firm? Possible diaphragm in the fuel pump?
Possible the inline connector is bad? There is rubber in there and it rots and sucks air.
A bit more info?
