I have an 88 Doral Prestencia with twin 4.3 l and OMC drives. My problem is if i move the one shifter handle forward to place my one engine in forward it does not go into gear it just revs up however if I trim the engine up all the way it will then go into gear so then I trim down and i am good to go. after going through this if i place it in neutral it does not go into it I have to turn the engine off and restart it to get it into neutral. any thoughts other than a new boat?
