I fired off and ran fine. Primer solenoid dont click when key pushed in. if the engine is warm it will fire right off but when cool need more carb sprayed into intake. Read on the Seloc manual about the primer solenoid. Turned red handle up and it starts but was leaking some gas at the handle due to a crack. Took the boat to the lake and ran it a couple hours. Idle was rough. It is a pain however to have to remove the cover to start the boat. I ordeded A kit and installed it along with a new handle. I am no expert with my cheap ohm meter but I think the primer solenoid tested good. Gas leak repaired now but still no power to the primer solenoid. Wiring diagram shows the purple wire going all the way to the key switch. its rained all week here so I have yet to try starting it up since the solenoid rebuild. Still no click when key push in. Beginning to get stumped with my limited mechanical ability. Any suggestions will be appreciated. My name is Walter

is the small black wire that goes to the bolt to keep it on nice and clean ? it might even be broken .
take unit off and check on 12volt battery, when both positive purple and earth back hit the batter it should click.
