Merc 402, how do I remove the carb?!

Got my hands on an old Merc 402 that I suspect needs a carb rebuild but I'm not sure how to get to the carb :( Any help appriciated!

First, disconnect the battery for it. Then remove the face plate blocking the access to the carburetor and then take pictures of things that need to be restored to the proper position. That would include the linkages and all other items that would keep the carb inaccessible. Then remove the two nuts and voila. Get a good rebuild kit for it here. Soak and clean with compressed air. and be thorough or you will be doing it again, real soon.
