Does anyone have a measurement from the top of the transom assembly to the bottom of the drive skeg for a Bravo Two. ( just straight down, not diagonally). Basically, I want to know how deep my drive is when lowered, but I wont have access to my boat for a few weeks.
 
That's a bit of a headscratcher....... Typically the cavitation plate over the prop is even with the bottom of the hull.
That'd put the top of the prop approx. even with the bottom of the hull, the prop dia. & clearance about 21", then 6-8" for the skeg.
I'd keep it out of water 3' deep or less unless the bottom was real soft.
 
The Installation guide gives you plenty of "wiggle room" as far as height goes (X-dimension). Up to like three inches I think. Every owner should give this a read, very good info in there. Guide is here.
