Brand new 2017 bass 18' pontoon. Less than 3 hrs into break in. Steady alarm goes of if rpm is over 3000. Engine runs smoothly. Water flow fine oil level fine trim down. Alarm does not go off in idle at 4000.
problem seems more to be with sensors rather than smooth running engine.
taking back to dealer is problem since it cost me $250 for initial delivery. Would need to borrow trailer, etc, etc.
i think it may be a simple switch or computer glitch.
