in process of removing oil injection NEED HELP

I have removed the oil pump and I have the blank off kit. How do I get this piece out so the blank off kit will go in. I have turned it with a screwdriver, attempted to pull out with needle nose. What should my next attempt be?? I also removed the top tank and will remove the on board tank and hoses. Sure could use some help.

UPDATE got that piece out. attempting to remove drive shaft for pump. I see in the book it is a worm gear. I removed all plugs so I could rock the eng while attempting to remove shaft. still no luck. Need Help.
 
got it all out and blank off plug in. new plug in crankcase. Now to remove on board tank and hoses. then all premix.
