After a year of trying to get my J150EXEOM to idle smoother, I have discovered a difference in the bore size and butterfly relief cuts in my throttle bodies.
This is apparently an engine put together from parts of other engines.
part numbers on all 6 carbs are 436797 and the bores measure approximately 1-3/16
port TB part number stamping is 340934 and 341267 p on the side, it measures almost 1-9/16
stb TB part number reads 340650 on front and side, it measures almost 1-7/16
heads are the 337548 low compression heads and I have no idea about the crankcase except I get approximately 90 psi compression.
Any advice or opinions welcomed.
What is the best steps to match everything, I am only looking to eat the motor running correctly not hot rod it.
Thanks everyone
