I have a 1999 25hp Johnson outboard right now. It's model J25PL3EEM it has power tilt and trim. I'm buying a 1999 johnson 50hp brp with power tilt and trim. I've been told I can reuse my controls and wires etc. on the 50ho , is this true? because they are the same year and close in hp, Can i just use the wiring and controls I have now without having to redo anything on my boat. The 25hp is a nice motor and runs great, I just want more power. Thanks in advanced for any help
