I'm having trouble finding any information on this outboard.

Model # 20CR 786
Serial # 08020838

Can someone help me figure out where to find information (manual, partslist, etc.)?

My guess is that this motor is from north of the 49 th or north of the St Lawrence.--------You will find that the 20 hp decals were only found in some markets.----------Any and all information for the 25 hp is usefull to you.
 
Thanks! That may make some sense... I'm in Michigan and it's been used a great deal on Lake Michigan and the U.P.

I'll dig through some of the 25 hp manuals!
