How do you remove the throttle assembly - Quicksilver/Mercury outboard

Hi all
We have just bought a quicksilver 530 pilothouse and we have problems with the throttle control (wont go into neutral) and we need to be able remove it.
The product number of the assembly is PN 883709 A02.
Any help or advice will be gratefully received.

Ayuh,.... So what outboard is on the other end of the cables,..??

Disconnect the cables from the motor, 'n see whether it's the outboard or the controller, or the cables themselves,....
