Question re bleading injectors

I have a 40+ year old 6 cylider Sea Lord (marinized BMC) engine that requires occasional bleeding of the injectors. I have noticed that bleeding some injectors makes very little difference in engine RPM while another may almost stall the engine. Is this normal ??? Or is it likely that the injectors need service ??? THANKS in advance. RD

Rubber Duck, sounds like you need to have those injectors rebuilt. You may have a few that are not seating properly and in some cases let compression leak back causing air in fuel system.

THANKS Charlie. Sounds like good advice. I was hoping the symptoms might be normal-ish and just need something like "injector cleaner".
