I was noticing the engine getting harder and harder to start after sitting for a week or two. I was having to go release air from the "Maint Valve" behind the air intake diffuser that covers the 6 carb intake ports. I I had also been over pumping/priming the bulb because of the harder starting.
I replaced the gasket on the primer solenoid, PN 437228. It included a new gasket, and top plastic part of the solenoid. I also replaced the valve itself, PN 175158.
Much easier to start now.
