Alpha 1 Gen 2 Water Pump Seal Question

Ok.... so I'm supposed to use the water pump face seal setting tool to set the top seal positioned on the drive shaft on top of the pump body.

I don't have that little round tool that looks like this (on the left):

But I can probably make one.

Would someone please run out to the workshop check the depth/height of the tool? Pretty please?

I just lightly grease the bottom and slide it down untill it rests on the housing. I have been using the one from the Alpha drive instead of the flanged one for GEN II. Works just as well. It keeps the exaust gases out of the pump cap
