spark plug hole repair 225HP

What is the best way to repair my bottom cylinder spark plug hole?
Threads were pulled and are still on the new plug. I just bought the engine with the plug hole issue. I saw the Helicoil kit 5334-14 as pictured.
I bore scoped the cylinder and did not see any aluminum thread shsvings.
Engine is a 2002 225hp.
Thanks in advance,
Dan

I have the same issue with #3 cylinder on my 2007 225.
Everything I've read points to using timeserts instead of helicoils and I've found a company who will fit a new insert for £15 ($18) — seems like a no brainer..... for something this important is going to be done by someone who knows what they're doing!
After its done I will borescope the cylinder to check it out and suck out any debris that may have fallen in.

Thanks for the reply. I was gonna buy the Helicoil kit for $26.
The Timesert kits for a M14x1.25 plug is close to $200....wow!
