What year is my motor

I have a mariner gray ghost motor . It's 40 hp it has the serial number 676 bs 104213. What year is this ? Is this yamaha Marnier or merc? And where can I get a carb for it.
 
40 E 676B-103261 - 676B-104635 = 1980... (S = Short shaft).

The Carb part number is 1383-7991M which is no longer available.

Or using the part number keep an eye on eBay for one to pop-up... Also you could try calling/walking into your local Merc dealer and have them search the NLA dealer to dealer inventory list to see if anyone has one still and see if they will order it up for you.
