I have been looking for parts (6Y1-24260-00-01 Fuel Meter) or gas gauge/connection assembly for 6 gal tank for a Yamaha motor. I purchased a new motor but still use a steel can. Is that part number a very common part number? I believe they quit making the steel tank about 1998? Does anyone know if this a common part number for all metal Yamaha gas tanks. Not sure what year my tank was made for. Thanks for any help on this topic.
